Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is the use of
hypnosis with forms of psychotherapy for a therapeutic purpose. It is one of
the most effective ways to make positive and lasting changes to your life.
Hypnotherapy can be used to address many health issues and unwanted patterns of
behaviour.
Solution Focused Hypnotherapy
Solution Focused
Hypnotherapy is the combination of hypnotherapy with solution focused therapy
techniques. It is a collaborative process whereby you are encouraged to focus
on the desired outcome of therapy as a solution, rather than focusing on the
symptoms or issues that bring you to therapy.

How the sessions work
An Initial Consultation
usually lasts around an hour in which time we will discuss your issue and
information will be gathered. If you
then decide you are ready to make a change and would like to move forward then
the number of sessions required will be discussed. Therapy is then individually
tailored for each client and confidentiality is assured.
A complementary relaxation CD is also provided to enhance and maximise the benefits of the sessions. Subsequent sessions
Subsequent sessions will then include the use of solution focused techniques followed by hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural state of heightened awareness of the mind. It is associated with deep relaxation and focused inner attention.
We all experience it every day when we are completely absorbed in something such as watching a movie or listening to music. In the state of hypnosis nobody can suggest you should do anything you do not want to do. You are in control at all times. The use of hypnosis enables the unconscious mind to make beneficial change. |
Smoking Cessation
Please note that if you are considering giving up smoking, then you will require a session that will last approximately an hour and a half. An initial consultation will not be required.
